Dry-type Fire Sprinkler

Dry-type sprinklers are usually installed in piping systems that have no water or low water pressure normally. When a fire occurs, the system first detects the fire source through detection devices (such as temperature sensors and smoke detectors), then activates the alarm device and the water supply system. At this time, water starts flowing into the pipes, pushing the valve core inside the dry-type sprinkler to open, thus enabling water to be sprayed for fire extinguishing. Since the dry-type sprinkler is in a water-free state when the system is not activated, it can avoid system failures caused by pipe leakage or low-temperature freezing. Wet-type sprinklers are directly connected to piping systems with water. These piping systems usually maintain a certain water pressure to ensure a rapid response in case of a fire. The dry-type sprinkler fire extinguishing system is an automatic fire extinguishing system suitable for environments with temperatures below 4℃ or above 70℃. The system consists of closed sprinkler heads, piping systems, dry-type alarm valve groups, etc., and the water distribution pipes are usually filled with pressurized gas. When a fire occurs, the sprinkler head is heated and opens to release the gas, and the system's air pressure drops, triggering the activation of the dry-type alarm valve, and pressurized water enters the pipes to extinguish the fire. This system has the advantages of not being frozen and being resistant to high environmental temperatures.
