Spark Pressure-Type Fire Foam Proportioning Mixing Device
This is Spark’s pressure-type fire foam proportioning mixing device, a core supporting equipment of foam fire extinguishing systems—widely used in high-risk oil fire locations such as petrochemical plants, oil depots, fuel storage tank areas, and port oil terminals. It integrates foam concentrate storage and proportioning mixing functions, accurately mixing fire water and foam concentrate at a set ratio (3%/6%) to output high-efficiency foam mixture for extinguishing oil fires. Adopting a horizontal fixed installation design, equipped with pressure monitoring components, and supporting auto/manual dual control modes, it is compatible with various foam fire extinguishing systems, serving as a key equipment for emergency disposal of oil fires.

 

 

Horizontal Bladder Tank
 
The tank shell is constructed of steel , complying with China common specfications and prossessing a tensile strength of no less then 70,000 psi. The circumferential as well as longitudinal body seam are welded by machine. The tank interior welds and edges are ground smooth.
The tank shell water inlet and water drain is screened to prevent bladder blow out.
The vartical tank assembly is supported by three legs with access to the bladder drain valve and the tank shell fill valve. Three legs are anchoring for the tank. The horizontal assembly is supported on two saddles weled to the tank and fitted with anchoring holes.
 
When the water go through the pressure reducing orifice, it will create a pressure difference in the front and behind the pressure reducing orifice. The pressure is higher in front of the pressure reducing orifice, and most of the high pressure water goes though the pressure reducing orifice, and a little water goes through the water inlet pipe, and goes into the tank, then extrude the capsule. The extruded foam concentrate goes out of the capsule through the outlet pipe, and goes into the proportioner, mixed with the water, and become water-foam mixed water, goes through the fire fighting pipe into the foam nozzle, mixed with air, then become foam to put out the fire!
Characteristic:

1. The system doesn't need to be individually configured foam pump, the pressure can be directly borrowed from the fire foam liquid water drive, saving the costs.
